Stages of Making an Appointment

1. Contact Us

Potential clients can reach out to Austin Sports Therapy via phone, email, or our online appointment booking system.
Our friendly reception staff will assist in scheduling an appointment, answering any initial questions, and providing essential information.

2. Intake Form

Prior to the initial appointment, new clients will be asked to fill out a comprehensive intake form. This form includes personal information, medical history, and details about the reason for seeking treatment. This can be done online or in-office before the consultation.

3. Appointment Confirmation

Once the online intake form is received, our team will confirm the appointment details, including the date, time, and any specific instructions. This confirmation may be sent via email or phone.

4. First Consultation

During the initial consultation, clients will discuss their health history, current injury/concerns, and overall treatment goals.
The practitioner may perform a physical assessment and discuss potential treatment options based on the client's needs.

5. Treatment Plan Discussion

Following the assessment, the practitioner will typically provide the first treatment and explain the recommended therapy plan. This includes the frequency of sessions, expected outcomes, and any at-home exercises or self-care practices.

6. Book a Follow-Up Session

If ongoing treatment is recommended, the client can schedule follow-up sessions in advance. The scheduling process can be done in-person, over the phone, or through the clinic's online booking system.

7. Payment Arrangements

Clients will be informed of their payment options.
Although we do not bill insurances directly, we provide documentation (known as a “SuperBill”) for our patients to submit themselves for reimbursement from their provider.

8. Follow-Up Communication

After the initial consultation and treatment, clients may receive follow-up communication, including resources, exercise instructions, or any additional information relevant to their treatment plan.
